     Walter Frank Jach was the son of Josephine (--?--). He married Emilia Sofia "Mildred" Lagowski, daughter of Adam Lagowski and Teresa Sleczka, on 2 August 1919 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States.1 Walter died on 27 November 1983 at Parma, Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States, at age 90.2 He was buried at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States.
     Walter's occupation: Spring Maker. He was naturalized as a citizen of the United States on 1 October 1923 at Saint Clairsville, Belmont, Ohio, United States.3
Biography of Walter Frank Jach:

Walter Jach (listed on the ship manifest as Wladyslaw Jach, age 19) immigrated to the United States from Łapczyca, Austria. He was apparantly traveling alone, arriving 10 July 1912 in the port of New York on the S. S. Lapland, which departed from Antwerp, Belgium on 1 July 1912. He indicated he was going to Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. He indicated he was born in Zaperyza and listed his mother, Josephine Jach of Łapczyca as his nearest relative. He also indicated he was joining a friend, Josef Zajac in Cherry Valley, Washington County, Pennsylvania. He was described as 5 ft. 3 inchs tall, fair complexion and blue eyes. He also had $32 in his pocket.

On October 1, 1923, Walter Jach took an Oath of Allegiance and became a citizen of United States of America.
