25, 2015, at Bower’s Hospice.
Since March, 2014, she had
resided in Shady Spring, W.Va.,
with son, Gary, and wife,
Brenda, and best friend and
loyal companion, Chipper.
She was married Nov. 1, 1945, to Robert Frasher (1923-2002)
of Monitor, W.Va. Robert had served in the Army Air Force during
World War II and later graduated from Marshall University in 1948
and 1965. She and her husband of 57 years resided in Orlando, Fla.
from 1956 on following residences in WV, OH, NY, and TX. She
was a bookkeeper and Robert was a CPA in Orlando, Fla., prior to
their retirement. She was a faithful member of the South Bumby
Church of Christ in Orlando.
She was widowed in Orlando, Fla. and preceded in death by
brothers and sisters, Patricia Mixon, Dean Mixon, Jerry Mixon,
and Kenneth Mixon, all of Perry, Fla; by Robert’s parents, Garland
Frasher Sr. and wife, Leaffy (Morrison), his brother, Donald
Frasher, and wife, Gertrude, and his sisters, Helen (Frasher) Bash
and husband, Gorman, and Eula (Frasher) Whittaker.
She is survived by son, Gary Frasher, and wife, Brenda (Carter),
Brenda’s children and grandchildren; sister, Hulda (Mixon) Tucker
and husband, John; brother, George Mixon, and wife, Donna
(Osteen); sister-in-law, Thursy (Frasher) Baker, and husband,
Cebern; brothers-in-law, Garland Frasher Jr. and wife, Beth Ann,
and John Frasher, and wife, Virginia; and by many nieces and nephews
of her and Robert’s brothers and sisters.
Visitation was Friday, Jan. 30, 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral services
will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at Morris Funeral Home,
Wayne, W.Va. She will be buried beside Robert in the A.J. Frasher
Cemetery, Lick Creek Road in Wayne County. She was buried at A. J. Frasher Cemetery, East Lynn, Wayne, West Virginia, United States.
