Biography of William Duggan:

The earliest record of William Duggan is a deed dated 7 September 1731 in Bertie County, North Carolina where John and William Duggan bought 620 acres of land for 250 pounds from Edmond Smithwick. William sold his half interest in this land on 4 Mar 1750 to John Duggan. William died in the early part of 1754 in Bertie County intestate. His wife, Mary, petitioned the August Court for Administration of her husband's estate which was granted. The final record of his estate papers list his children which are listed below.3
