     Kateřina Anna Mertová was the daughter of Matěj Merta and Kateřina Sigmundová. She married Josef Buřval, son of Jan Buřval and Anna Bukáčková, on 27 June 1842 at Vříšť 20, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria.¹ Kateřina died on 27 January 1880 at Líšná 23, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria.²

     Anna Havlíčková was the daughter of Josef Havlíček and Rozálie Mrkosová. She married František Peňáz, son of František Peňáz and Josefa Havlíčková; Anna Havlicekova and Frantisek Penaz were first cousins, and the Church and Austrian Law would not allow them to marry. Frantisek, however, acknowledged his paternity of their daughter, Frantiska Havlicekova, on her 1841 baptism record. Anna died on 3 March 1849 at Kuklik 32, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria, at age 41.¹

     Rozálie Mrkosová was the daughter of František Mrkos and Anna Bukáčková. She married Josef Havlíček, son of Václav Havlíček and Kateřina Batelková, on 21 June 1807 at Kuklik, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria.¹

     Gladys Jean Osborn was the daughter of Patrick Osborn and Stella Durbin. She married Frank Burval, son of Josef František Buřval and Anna Frances Klos, on 26 March 1947 at Hillsboro, Montgomery, Illinois, United States.¹

     Carl Lester Burval was the son of Frank Burval and Gladys Jean Osborn. He died on 20 March 2020 at Lichfield, Montgomery, Illinois, United States, at age 72.

     Wayne Burris was the son of Charles Edward Burris and Theresa Irene Gress. Wayne died on 25 November 1998 at Des Plaines, Cook, Illinois, United States, at age 52. His body was buried on 1 December 1998 at Cresthill Cemetery, Hillsboro, Montgomery, Illinois, United States.

     William Bohatka was the son of Martin Bohatka and Emma Novotny. He married Roslyn Pearl Burval, daughter of Josef František Buřval and Anna Frances Klos, on 22 May 1939 at Norwalk, Huron, Ohio, United States.¹ William died on 8 April 1974 at Rolling Meadows, Cook, Illinois, United States, at age 68. His body was buried in April 1974 at Memory Gardens, Arlington Heights, Cook, Illinois, United States.

     Hazel Carlson was the daughter of Elmer Einar Carlson and Anna Lowgren. She married Charles Kenneth Burval, son of Josef František Buřval and Anna Frances Klos, in June 1939 at Park Ridge, Cook, Illinois, United States.² She died on 24 January 2010 at Park Ridge, Cook, Illinois, United States, at age 92; Death Notice: HAZEL C. Hazel C. Burval,nee Carlson, beloved wife of the late Charles and long-time resident of Park Ridge, passed away on Jan. 24, 2010 at the grand age of 92.
Her loving daughters, Pat McNamara and JoAnn Kroeger will deeply miss her as will her devoted sons-in-law, Sean McNamara and Ron Kroeger; her cherished sisters-in-law, Lois P. Carlson and Evelyn H. Burval; grandchildren, Niall and Eric McNamara, Adam and Emily Kroeger; great-granddaughter, Morgan Kroeger; and many caring nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
