Silas F. Hardee enlisted 1/13/63 in the Third Florida Infantry, Company G of the CSA Army and was present in late 1863. No futher mention after 12/31/63. [Hartman, David W.      Theophilus Hardie was the son of Allen Hardie and Sarah Leslie. He married Henrietta Franklin, daughter of Abner N. Franklin. Theophilus died on 4 January 1863 at Stones River Battlefield, Murfreesboro, Rutherford, Tennessee, United States.
     Biography of Theophilus Hardie:

Theophilus Hardee (b. 1831) enlisted 7/5/61 in the Third Florida Infantry, Company G, at Madison, Florida and was appointed 1st Cpl 5/8/62. He was mortally wounded in the head at Murfeesboro 12/31/62 and captured. He died 1/4/63. [Hartman, David W. John and a companion, an 8 year old boy of a neighbor family, went hunting in wooded area near Lumpkin, Georgia when a large black panther leaped from a tree on the his back and began clawing and biting him. He could not turn his gun on the cat and screamed for help. The younger boy was terribly aftraid so he ran to get help instead of helping John himself.      Elizabeth Hardie was the daughter of William M. Hardie and Lavisa Cornelia Perkins. Her body was buried in March 1889 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cem, Shellman, Randolph, Georgia, United States.¹

     Winnefred Hardie was the daughter of William M. Hardie and Lavisa Cornelia Perkins. She married William S. King, on 26 July 1842 at Stewart, Georgia, United States.¹
