Biography of William Pinkney Parker:

William Pinkney Parker enlisted in June, 1861 at Tampa, Florida as a private in Co. K of the 8th Florida Infantry of the Confederate Army under Capt. Wm. Turner. He was captured at Gettysburg on 2 July 1863 and imprisoned for two years at Fort Delaware, New Jersey being released and discharged on oath 10 June 1865 at the close of the war. He claimed and received a pension in 1906 for this service. He claimed to have lived in Florida since 1843, with the exception of 5 years in Alabama.      Willis T. Parker was the son of John H. Parker and Honor Smith. He married Martha Bell, daughter of Duncan Bell, on 4 July 1859 at Lafayette, Florida, United States.¹
     Biography of Willis T. Parker:

There is a Willis T. Parker listed on the rolls of the Ninth Florida Infantry, Company D. CSA. which suggests that Willis T. served in the Conferate Army. Hartman's Biographical Rosters shows:
"Parker, Willis T. (b. 1845) enlisted 10/6/62 at Columbus and was dropped after December 1862."
The birth date in this record is inconsistent with a birthdate from census information of 1838 so this could be a different Willis T.

Jasper Parker joined for duty at age 17 in the Confederate Army on 15 May 1861 at Madison. He was a private in Company L of the 2nd Florida Infantry. He died on 26 Sept 1861 at Richmond Hospital from wounds received July 1861.

     George Parker was the son of John H. Parker and Honor Smith.
     Biography of George Parker:

No further records after 1860 have been found on George Parker. It is possible that he is the George Parker who enlisted 18 March 1863 at Camp Finegan in Company C of the Tenth Florida Infantry. His record indicates he was captured 10 September 1864 at Petersburg and sent to Point Lookout Prision where he died 25 February 1865 and was buried in the prison cemetery. [Hartman, David W. Parker and Honor Smith, on 4 July 1859 at Lafayette, Florida, United States.¹ Martha died on 15 October 1911 at Lafayette, Florida, United States.² Her body was buried in October 1911 at Bethel Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Lafayette, Florida, United States.²

     She married Theodore Leslie, son of Moses Leslie and Letilla Elizabeth Cottingham.¹ Annie died in 1949 at Madison, Florida, United States. Her body was buried in 1949 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Madison, Florida, United States.²

     Martha Carrie Hay was the daughter of Charles E. Hay and Emily Eliza Suber. She married Evy "Tink" Stokely Jr., son of Evy Stokely and Julia Ann Hadden, on 30 July 1906 at Madison, Florida, United States.¹

     Bernice Elizabeth Stokely was the daughter of Evy "Tink" Stokely Jr. and Martha Carrie Hay. She married Miles Burgen Lynn, son of John Lynn and Martha Lingerfelt, on 3 July 1946 at Folkston, Charlton, Georgia, United States.² Bernice died in April 1988 at age 76.²
