     She married Josiah William Phillips, son of Solomon Phillips and Ann Stubbs, on 18 February 1866.¹ Susan died on 28 February 1916 at Madison, Florida, United States, at age 80. Her body was buried in March 1916 at Corinth Baptist Church, Madison, Florida, United States.²

     William Henry Phillips was the son of Josiah William Phillips and Susan J. Morris. He married Tempy Ann Webb, daughter of Levi Webb and Eveline Catherine Peterson, on 1 February 1893 at Madison, Florida, United States.² William died on 6 March 1957 at Madison, Florida, United States, at age 83. His body was buried at Corinth Baptist Church, Madison, Florida, United States.

Uncle Will and Aunt Tempe were like a close set of grandparents for me. When my grandmother remarried(to Aunt Tempe's brother), my father refused to live with the new family unit and stayed on with Uncle Will and Aunt Tempe. He married Laura Snuggs, daughter of Richmond Gates Snuggs and Wincy Freeman Smith, on 24 December 1873 at Terrell, Georgia, United States.¹ Charles died on 8 December 1927 at age 73. His body was buried at Sylvania Cemetery, Decatur, Georgia, United States.

      OFF TO TEXAS

Mrs. Louisa Kelly, Mr. Noah Kelly, Mrs. Hunt and Master Tommie Hunt left last Sunday for Dallas, Texas, at which place they will locate. We hope they will be pleased with their new home. Both of these ladies have children in Texas, is why they leave Georgia.

     Laura Snuggs was the daughter of Richmond Gates Snuggs and Wincy Freeman Smith. She married Charles B. Kelly, son of Noah W. Kelly and Louisa Barr, on 24 December 1873 at Terrell, Georgia, United States.¹ Laura died on 26 May 1941 at age 83. Her body was buried at Sylvania Cemetery, Decatur, Georgia, United States.²

     Richmond Gates Snuggs was the son of Richmond Gates Snuggs and Wincy Freeman Smith. He married Ellen A. Kelly, daughter of Noah W. Kelly and Louisa Barr, on 15 October 1868 at Terrell, Georgia, United States.¹
