     Josef Mrkos was the son of František Mrkos and Anna Bukáčková. He died on 23 May 1847 at Kuklik 32, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria, at age 65.¹

     Františka Havlíčková was the daughter of Václav Havlíček and Kateřina Batelková.

     Anna Hájeková was the daughter of Jan Hájek and Anna Bukáčková. She married Josef Peňáz, son of Josef Peňáz and Anna Mrkosová, on 7 July 1816 at Kuklik, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria.¹ She died on 31 January 1848 at Kuklik 57, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria, at age 53.²

     Jan Hájek was christened on 11 May 1751 at Kuklik, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria; The 1751 baptism record of Jan Hajek clearly shows his parents as Jan Hajek and Marina his wife. This the basis for show Jan Hajek (1751) as the son of Jan Hajek (1714). It should be noted that the 1781 marriage record of Jan Hajek to Anna Bukacekova show Jan's father as Jiri Hajek of Kuklik not Jan. The 1771 Cenus shows that Marina was a widow which suggests that her husband Jan Hajek (1714) and father of the Jan Hajek (1751) was deceased at that time. (We also were not able to lfind a death record for Jan Hajek (1714)) This suggest that Jiri Hajek, Uncle to Jan Hajek (1714), likely adopted Jan or certainly accepted responsibily for caring for Jan since 1771 so tha by the 1781 marriage the priest mistakingly or unknownly wrote in Jiri as the father.¹ He was the son of Jan Hájek and Mariana Kakačová. He married Anna Bukáčková, daughter of Jiří Bukáček and Anna Pavličková, on 5 February 1781 at Kuklik 22, Neustadtl, Moravia, Austria; This marriage record is in error when it states Jiri Hajek as the father of Jan Hajek. Jiri is the Uncle to Jan and brother to Jan's father Jan Hajek who was deceased before 1771.²

Jiri is the Uncle to Jan and brother to Jan's father Jan Hajek who was deceased before 1771.¹
