     Georgana McClanahan was born on 2 November 1867 at Jefferson, Tennessee, United States. She married James Henry Sample, son of George Washington Sample and Lucy Ann Braden, circa 1885. She died on 22 September 1930 at St. Louis, Saint Louis, Missouri, United States, at age 62.
     Biography of Georgana McClanahan:
Georgana and daughter Nellie moved to St. Louis, Mo., where Nellie was trained as a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital. They lived at 5525 Enright, University City, Mo.

She is probably buried in Wyandotte Co., Kan., according to conversation with Dorothy Lea Sample Bridges, Springfield, Mo., 13 Jun 1994.

Ann Brashers' letter of 5 Sep 1994, says Georgana was in Caldwell Co., Mo., in 1880 census living with her step-father, but name of step-father was not given.1
