There is also a record of a T. H. Tompkins joining Company L (Madison Rangers) of the 2nd Florida Infantry of the CSA on 13 July 1861. [Soldiers of Florida]

Tompkins..¹ Thomas died after 1930 at Suwannee, Florida, United States.
