Obituary of Robert Tompkins Dated Thursday, January 25, 1883.

Mr. Robert Tompkins, who for several months has been in very bad health, died on Wednesday night, about 55 years of age. Mr. Tompkins was a confederate soldier and member of Martins Battery. He was coroner of this county for the last two yers. His wife and sister-in-law, who resided at his house and one or two children died if we mistake not, last year.
