Medical: Stout build. Mattie went to get a perm put in her hair, when she got back home, she had a headache so she layed down on the couch. Thats where she died.¹

     Sally Mae Brooks was born on 25 July 1892 at Sandersville, Washington, Georgia, United States. She was the daughter of Robert Francis Brooks and Senann Miliary Waller. She married Marion Owen Prosser, son of Robert Alonza Prosser and Mary Horton, on 15 October 1911.¹ She died on 13 April 1949 at age 56.¹ She was buried at Corinth Leefield Cemetery, Bulloch, Georgia, United States.¹

He married Orie Todd on 9 June 1912; Tabernacle News - On Sunday afternoon June 9, 1912 Mr. Silas Brooks and Miss Arrie Todd were happily married at the home of Mr. G.L. Armstrong near Popular Springs Church.¹ He married Daisy (--?--).¹ He died in 1975 at Statesboro, Bulloch, Georgia, United States.¹ He was buried at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Savannah, Chatham, Georgia, United States.¹
     Biography of Silas Francis Brooks:
STATESBORO - Silas Brooks - Silas F. Brooks, 85, died Friday at Bulloch County Hospital after a long illness.
He was a native of Washington County but had lived in the Eureka Community in Bulloch County for 54 years and was a retired farmer and Statesboro merchant. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Daisy S. Brooks of Statesboro; two sons, Robert Cecil and Charles B. Brooks, both of Savannah: a daughter, Mrs. J.D. Brooks of Virginia Beach, Va.: a sister, Mrs. Horace Lord of Sandersville: eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Monday at Smith-Tillman Mortuary in Statesboro with additional graveside services at 2p.m. in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.¹
