She married Elmer Lee Carroll, son of Wilson Bruce Carroll and Laura Virginia Johnson, on 24 December 1924.1 Bertha died on 9 February 1991 at Houston, Harris, Texas, United States. Her body was buried on 11 February 1991 at Oklahoma Cemetery, Tomball, Harris, Texas, United States.
