GREEN VALLEY, Ariz. -- Donald S. Brysacz, 78, formerly of Loudonville, died Monday evening, April 16, 2007, at his home in Green Valley, Ariz. He was born July 24, 1928, in Cleveland, the son of the late Stanley and Harriette (Owczarek) Brysacz and was a graduate of South High School, Cleveland. He received his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University. Donald was owner/operator his own drugstore, Don-El Drugs in Broadview Heights, for 20 years. He was a pharmacist by trade but his true avocation was farming and raising Angus cattle. He moved to Loudonville in 1975, where he loved having family get-togethers at the farm. After his retirement in 1999, he moved to Green Valley, Ariz. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor (Smolinski) Brysacz, whom he married Oct. 14, 1953; sons, Gregory (Jennifer) Brysacz of Marietta, Ga., and Lt. Commander Bruce (Erminda) Brysacz of Milton, Fla., and daughters, Laura (Richard) Krainas of Greenville, S.C., and Carol (Tom) Allerding of Loudonville; grandchildren, Ann Marie, Mike, Nick and Brent Allerding, Chelsea and Tara Rubinstein, Brianna Brysacz and Grant and Reagan Brysacz; six step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brothers, Stanley Brysacz and William Brysacz, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Richard Brysacz of Parma, Gary Brysacz of Toledo and John Brysacz of Florida. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 21, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Loudonville, with Father Vincent Hawk as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
