Helen Homolka

     Helen Homolka was born on 6 December 1913 at Chambers, Holt, Nebraska, United States.1 She married Leo Leonard Burival, son of Henry Frank Burival and Ludmilla Katerina Polak, on 3 November 1938.1 She died on 8 December 2007 at O'Neill, Holt, Nebraska, United States, at age 94.1 She was buried on 13 December 2007.1

Funeral services for Helen C. Burival, age 94, of O'Neill, will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill with burial in the O'Neill cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 PM to 9 PM at Biglin's Mortuary in O'Neill with a Rosary at 8 PM. She passed away Saturday afternoon at the Golden Living center in O'Neill. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill.
She is survived by one son, James of O'Neill, 1 brother-in-law, Edwin Burival, and 1 sister-in-law Orletha Burival of O'Neill, and several nieces and nephews. Helen was born December 6, 1913 at Chambers, Nebraska to Charles and Antoinette (Horky) Homolka. She married Leo Burival on November 3, 1938 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They lived on a farm north of O'Neill. He passed away April 12, 1999. Helen was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill, and St. Patrick's Altar Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leo, several brothers and sisters. Rev. Paul Hoesing will officiate.1

A Funeral Mass for James L. Burival, age 79, of O’Neill, NE will be 10:30 AM Saturday, July 6, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill. Burial will follow in the O’Neill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill with a Parish Rosary at 7 PM. Memorials may be directed to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church or to St. Mary’s Schools. James passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Society in Atkinson, NE.
James L. Burival was born in O’Neill, Nebraska the only child to Leo and Helen (Homolka) Burival on September 20, 1939. He grew up on the family farm north of O’Neill where he attended country school before graduating in 1957 from St. Mary’s High School in O’Neill. He went on to receive his degree in Business Administration from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas.
After graduation he moved to Omaha, Nebraska where he worked for First National Bank and the University of Nebraska Omaha for many years. He retired and moved back to O’Neill in the early 90’s to take care of his parents and manage the family farm.
James loved to travel and enjoyed visiting places both domestic and abroad. He was very detail oriented and liked things done a certain way both professionally and personally. James enjoyed taking care of his cars, reading, photography and dancing. Later in life he enjoyed his trips out to the farm and seeing the countryside.
James
79is survived by several cousins and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Helen (Holmoka) Burival. He was buried on 6 July 2019 at O'Neil Cemetery, Atkinson, Holt, Nebraska, United States.

Patricia Ann Morrison

Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Burival, age 78, of O’Neill, will be at 10:30 am Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill with burial to follow in the O’Neill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Monday, March 7, 2016 at Biglin’s Mortuary in O’Neill with a 7 pm rosary. Patricia passed away early Friday morning, March 4, 2016 at West Holt Memorial Hospital in Atkinson, NE. Patricia Ann Morrison was born on November 15, 1937 in Page, NE to James and Bernice (Young) Morrison. She lived at and attended St. Mary’s Academy until she graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1955. Patricia married Dude Burival on December 28, 1959 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. They made their home on the family farm north of O’Neill. Patricia’s faith was very important to her, as was her volunteering. She volunteered for the Holt County Election Commission, helped the REA with their elections, was a 4-H group leader and delivered Meals on Wheels. Patricia enjoyed gardening and a cooking for her family. She made butter, canned pickles and made her own bread. She loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a straight shooter who always told you what she was thinking. Patricia is survived by her three daughters, Mardy Ollendick and her husband, Robert of O’Neill, Terri Burton and her husband, Jay of Lincoln, and Judy Burival of Lincoln; six grandchildren, Heather Ollendick, Marcus Ollendick, Miranda Ollendick, Bryton Burton, Camdyn Burton, Drayton Burton; three great grandchildren, Hailey, Kyden, and Ella; one sister-in-law, Louise Morrison-Wood of Grand Island; a niece and a nephew. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dude in 2004; and her brother, James Morrison in 1987. She was buried on 8 March 2016 at O'Neil Cemetery, Atkinson, Holt, Nebraska, United States.
